ABOUT DYSPORT®

Dysport® is an injection which is similar to Botox® Cosmetic injections. Dysport® reduces the appearance of wrinkles in the forehead area by releasing a toxin that acts as a paralytic to muscles in the area. Dysport® is used to temporarily treat fine lines and wrinkles that occur with muscle movement.

BENEFITS OF DYSPORT®

Patients usually see results quicker with Dysport® injections compared to Botox® Cosmetic injections. Patients report seeing results as early as one day after the treatment, peaking at about 14 days after treatment is performed. The results of Dysport® injections last approximately three to five months.

THE DYSPORT® TREATMENT

Injections are performed using a micro-needle. Multiple injections are strategically made across the facial region. The use of the micro-needle minimizes the feeling of discomfort at the injection site. The procedure is performed quickly, and patients can resume normal activity the same day. Minimal bruising may appear at the injection site but fades quickly.
