The weekend lift procedure offers many advantages and benefits over a traditional facelift. Local anesthesia is used, and the procedure takes only about an hour. Smaller incisions are made compared to those used for a facelift, so the appearance of scars is greatly reduced. Recovery time is much less with the weekend lift, allowing patients to return to normal activities sooner. The weekend lift offers natural-looking results and eliminates the risk of a wind tunnel look which may be seen with a facelift.

THE WEEKEND LIFT PROCEDURE

A weekend lift is performed under local anesthesia and takes about one hour to complete. Minor incisions are made, allowing Dr. Arzadon to complete the tightening of loose skin and removal of excess tissue. Unlike with a traditional facelift, there will be no drains placed or large bandages.

Patients typically require only a day or two to recover from the procedure, hence the name. Patients may experience minimal bruising and swelling which only lasts about a day.
